To mobilize prayer against human trafficking for victims, survivors, traffickers, advocacy groups, government and law enforcement.
Throughout Scripture, God routinely hears the cries of His people and responds with power. We want to see the outstanding works of the nonprofit, government, and law enforcement communities have the greatest impact on the lives of those affected by human trafficking. That passion drives FIREWALL Ministries to spend its energy mobilizing prayer on their behalf. Our desire is to raise up an unprecedented movement of prayer that stirs the heart of God and brings about an end to modern-day slavery.
FIREWALL Ministries became a 501(c)(3) in 2000 to promote prayer. In 2006, our eyes were opened to the horrific circumstances children and adults are subjected to when trapped in human trafficking. As a result, the organization shifted its focus to mobilizing prayer against this abomination.
The ministry’s name comes from Zechariah 2:5, “And I will be to her a wall of fire all around, declares the Lord, and I will be the glory in her midst.” This Scripture is the prayer that Firewall Ministries prays for each victim of human trafficking.
